What is Kybella?

Kybella contains a substance called deoxycholic acid. This is naturally present in the body already and is an aid in processing dietary fat.

When receiving a treatment, Kybella is injected under the skin, connecting with the fat stores and breaking down the fat cell membranes. As Kybella liquifies these fat cells, the body removes them by metabolizing them into the body.

In our unique makeup, some people just naturally store more fat under the chin than others. Unwanted fat under the chin can be stubborn and difficult to get rid of! A double chin, medically referred to as submental fat or submental fullness, can be unyielding to all the diet and exercise you offer it!

A nonsurgical treatment of Kybella would be an excellent solution for you.

As an added bonus, lip fillers are a reversible treatment. By injecting an enzyme called hyaluronidase into the lips, hyaluronic acid in your lips will break down safely within a few short hours.

The exception to this is the dermal filler called Sculptra. This prescription is designed to enable your own body to create more collagen over the period of about 6 weeks.
