How long will my filler last?
Injectable Lip Fillers are temporary (they are fully dissolvable) but will last from 6 - 18 months, depending on a few factors such as your metabolism, the type of filler being used, and how often the specific muscle is used.
As an added bonus, lip fillers are a reversible treatment. By injecting an enzyme called hyaluronidase into the lips, hyaluronic acid in your lips will break down safely within a few short hours.
Is the Procedure Painful?
While it is not a painful procedure, some patients may experience some stinging and burning sensation.
A Numbing Cream can be helpful in mitigating any discomfort. Please ask your aesthetician!
How long will the procedure take?
You can expect the procedure to take between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of the treatment areas.
How Long Until I See Results?
Every patient's experience may be a bit different, however with most fillers you will notice an immediate enhancement of your features as soon as you leave our office!
It will take a couple weeks for the full result to be seen.
The exception to this is the dermal filler called Sculptra. This prescription is designed to enable your own body to create more collagen over the period of about 6 weeks.
Can I Combine Dermal Fillers with Other Procedures?
Absolutely! Many patients combine this treatment with BOTOX or other neuromodulators for significant results! Please consult with our professional provider for unique recommendations for your skin.
We would suggest waiting a short amount of time until any swelling has subsided before having a microneedling treatment.
